Getting ready to apply: CT Community Colleges- Nursing Program 2013

Good morning!

I am a current LPN working on pre-requisites for application to the CCC-NP for Fall 2013!

I'm taking most of my courses at Holyoke Community College and hope to transfer to Northwestern Connecticut Community College.

So far I have completed:

Nutrition 101- A

English Comp and Lit (6 credit course)- A

Biology w/ Lab- A

Math 085- A

This summer I am taking:

Intro to Psych

Math 095

This fall I am taking:A&P I

Chemistry

Computer Apps

Human Development

During the winter intersession I will take:Sociology

Spring 2013:

A&P II

Statistics

Microbiology

Public Speaking

On my list of things to do:

-Attend Nursing Information Session

-Take TEAS-V

I plan to continue after my ASN to my BSN from Elms College so I'm working on required courses for that program as well.

I look forward to getting to know others who are going through the process! Enjoy the day!

I noticed this also. Starting to get nervous now that it's close. I've been checking like every half hour for some type of update.

Hate to say it. But I think the only way I'm getting in is random selection. Damn b in writing is going to kill me.

If I don't get in this semester and I retake that stupid writing class and get an A I'd be over a 3.6 so that's my backup plan.

I'm at this point where I almost dont want to know anymore. I'm banking on the lotto system or that I calculated my gpa wrong lol! Good luck to everyone! My backup plan is to retake classes to raise my gpa. Still can't believe we will know by this time next week.

My nerves are shot! I check usually once a day but hadn't noticed the link had been removed. I haven't checked today though.

I've picked up a part-time job that can convert to full-time at any point so that's my back up plan..which I really hope NOT to have to use!!!! Next week!!!

Rnn34-who told you that? This monday, the 8th? Do you know if the link will appear at midnight on Sunday into Monday or do they open the link in the morning at like 8:00am? I will stay up until midnight if I have to! LOL (how crazy do I sound right now???)

Yes. Asked *********. She said the 9th. Which would be Tuesday. So my mistake on that.
