Can you keep us updated regularly? It will help those of us who aren't sure which school to go to. Thanks.

Hi everyone! I am new to allnurses.com and so far it has been so beneficial and helpful to me! I am looking into going to nursing school.. I was wondering if someone could explain to me more about the Lincoln Tech program? They do not have too much information on their website, and when I called to ask them for information, they never sent me anything!! How did you go about applying? What do you need for admission? When do the programs start? I think they have 3 different times? If anyone could help me out a little, I would really appreciate it!! Thanks so much! Good luck to you guys who are in the program now! And to those who are applying!!

There is some general info on these boards about Lincoln Tech - mostly that it is extremely expensive and someone also said that alot of it is self-taught. Hopefully someone who is in the program now will give us some good info!

I'm currently going to Lincoln Tech...it is very expensive, and yes for the most part self-taught. Since they accept pretty much everyone who can cough up the money, you have to deal with a lot of ridiculous people who have no business being in nursing, but a lot of them get weeded out quickly...it's not the best program in the world, but as long as I can sit for my NCLEX-PN (and pass!) I can deal with it. I just keep telling myself "it's only 15 months..."

Any other questions feel free to PM me!

yes they do because at the end of the program it is mandatory that everyone do an exit exam which is twice as hard as the actual nclex.

Do they give more than one chance to pass their exit exam?
