Has anyone applied to St. Vincent's for Fall 09 nursing

I was accepted for fall 2009 and if I fail this exam I just have to retake anat and phys I and II in the fall with my nursing courses. I did not take the test yet, I will sometime in Aug. I know its a 100 questions and you need 73 to pass. I am sure it will be tough.. I bought some books and signed up for the review course with st. vincent.. did you sign up for the review course?

Yes, I am very nervous about it! Is there another competency exam in August? I was just nervous that the one July 27th was the last exam.. I didn't ask about later ones. I should have taken the review course! If I knew I had to take the comp exam earlier in the summer, I definitely would have. Maybe I will call them and see if I can take it at a later date - if there are any. And sign up for the review course.. I'm sure it would help. I've been trying to review my notebook from when I took the class and my textbook, but it's just soo much information and so overwhelming!

Has anyone taken the anatomy and physiology competency exam??

mz1985 .. Did you ever take the A&P exam!? How did you do? All I can say is that I failed miserably.. so off I go to re-take A&P this fall. I am taking NUR 101 along with A&P .. are you doing the same?

I also failed the test! It was extremely hard !! I am taking nur 101 along with A&P as well!! Wat days are your classes?

It was crazy hard.. haha oh well! I am taking A&P on Mon. & Wed., 4:30-6 with lab on Wed. 1-4 .. I was called last minute to register for NUR 101, I guess there was an opening! So I am enrolled in the night program right now. I have class Tuesday evenings at 5:30, lab Thursday evenings at 6, and clinicals Saturdays! Not exactly my ideal schedule.. would have preferred to go during the day.. but I took what I could get! What about you!? Would be fun if we were in the same sections!!

I guess we have A&P together!! I have it on Mon and Wed 4:30-6 as well and lab on Mon 1:30-4:30. I have nursing 101 on Mon and Weds.. I am part time the first semester then I go full time, I am pretty excited~!! Did you buy the book for A&P yet?

That's great!! I'm excited to know someone. I wish I could have taken NUR 101 during the day and everything, but I took what I could get considering it was last minute. I'm hoping I can switch to the day program next semester! I did buy the book.. it actually just came in yesterday! Did you buy all of the NUR 101 books!?! I think I probably spent close to $800 on books this semester, if not more! I guess I have to accept the fact that I'm going to be broke!

I was accepted into the evening program at first as well, then they called me that there was a spot for morning so hopefully a spot opens for u for next semster .. I am going to the orientation tomm and I am excited.!. did you buy the adam interactive lab as well? I did not buy my A&P books yet.. why did you spend so much you shoulda got the bundle for Nur 101 it was only $273.. can we exchange emails on this website?
