Mar 7, '08 by profrnTwelve percent of staff R.N. positions in the state are vacant. Just look at the open positions listed in the paper, on hospital and LTC websites. It's not because there aren't enough good R.N.s around. It's because these positions aren't desirable for qualified individuals who have better options.
