by sandypalma Sep 28, '11Well just received the news that my husbands job might be relocating to Englewood Colorado. I am currently working at a community hospital as an ED Rn(still a new grad). My concern is not only the career oppourtunities but the school districts. I have a son with autism. Can anyone recommend me any school districts with good autism programs? Thank you. Willing to commute up to 30 miles.

Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree (I've lived in both and they would be closest DC schools to Englewood), Parker, Castle Rock are all DC. I have no personal experience with the special resources, but I've seen on other posts that they had some good resources for autistic students. You may try a Parent 2 Parent message board. Good luck! I lived in CO for 20 years, you'll love it!sandypalma likes this.
