possible to get an RN position in Colorado?Register Today!
- by kelso1001 Apr 25, '12I will be moving to Colorado next year, specifically the Boulder area. I am concerned that no one will be hiring new grads. Hopefully by that time I will have at least 4 months experience as an RN, 6 or 7 at the most. I feel like no one is hiring without experience. Does anyone know how the job market is over there?
- Apr 26, '12 by nurse2033I would get more experience. Some employers have new grad positions, but not very many. Cruise the web sites and you'll find them.
- Apr 26, '12 by One1I agree with the previous poster. Is there any way you can finish your first year before moving? By having worked a few months in another State you would also no longer qualify for new grad residencies. Maybe you could apply to those from your current residence and then move earlier if you will be accepted?
- Apr 26, '12 by kelso1001I will also have one year of nurse tech experience. I don't know if that matters. My boyfriend will be attending grad school out there so there's not really a way that I an extend my employment. Will it be impossible for me to get a job out there?
