  1. I applied for both also. They called yesterday morning to schedule an interview for ER resident and told me I would be receiving an email about references. When I got the email, it said RN-New Graduate, not ER. On the phone she definitely said ER.
  2. Perhaps you got both! They called me yesterday for the ER position as well, however my reference e-mail specifically says ER Nurse Resident. When I checked my application status online it said I was rejected from the New Grad 2012 and the ER status remained the same.

Perhaps you're right... the status for both apps are unchanged (no rejected status). But they haven't attempted to schedule an interview for the New Grad spot.
  4. Would it be inappropriate to send an email to the recruiter asking for my resume to be forwarded to the ED manager? How did I not see this position?
  5. Did you e-mail the recruiter? I have no idea if they will send over your resume since it seems like they have already contacted people for interviews, however I don't think it will hurt to try! Were you selected for the regular new grad program? Good luck!
  6. Does anyone know how many positions they have open in the ER New Grad Program or how many they are interviewing?

They are going to take 5-6 people, but I have no idea how many are being interviewed.
  8. Oh wow, I am sure they are interviewing a good amount. Do you have any ER experience?

No RN experience; I was just took NCLEX and got licensed in April. I was a paramedic in a former life though.
  10. Hahahaha does former life refer to before your nursing career?
