Childrens Hospital Clinical Assistant positions

U.S.A. Colorado

Published

Hi,

I am currently attending nursing school and have been applying at childrens for their clinical assistant positions. I have a few questions, first if all is this like a cna position? Im looking into this as a job to get my foot in the door while I am finishing school. Secondly would it be a bad idea to go to the hospital, introduce myself, and drop off my resume? I just feel like online I cant really sell myself and my interest in the hospital like I could face to face. I have a passion for peds and I know for a fact this is where I want to be but how do I get my foot in the door?

Thanks for your help!

Where are you attending school? Children's usually will only hire nursing students that are in bsn programs since that is their requirement for getting hired as an RN

Specializes in Maternal Child.

Hi,

this post is a little old, but was wondering if anyone could give me insight on getting hired as a clinical assistant at Children's. I am in my 3rd semester of a bsn program (UNC) and have a CNA license.
