Applying to CU Denver Summer 2014-Out of State Student

U.S.A. Colorado

Published

Hello Everyone

I'm Applying to CU Denver College of Nursing for Summer 2014. I'm going to be an out of state student. Do I need to fill out and upload the Tuition Classification Form to the application? I looked at the form and it gives a yes or no option for claiming eligibility for Colorado in-state tuition. So that is confusing me at the moment.

I don't have the form in front of me, but yes, you will still need to fill out the form (current 1st yr student). You will just state that you are an out of state student, and then (if memory serves), leave most of the other questions blank, or fill in zeros for things like your drivers license info.

Are you applying accelerated or traditional? If you're looking at the traditional program, you should be eligible to apply for in-state tuition after a year, assuming you meet certain criteria as specified by the financial aid office. There is a nice FAQ list on either the financial aid or bursar's office that lists exactly what you need to do to become instate eligible after that first year.

Good luck with your application!
