I can't tell if excitement or nervousness is taking over! I have two little ones (both full time school this year thankfully) and will be working part time.

I will say the price of books has given me quite a shock as I was hoping to buy them early and start reading, but I may have to wait for financial aid to come in!

Have you thought about what area you would like to work in when it's all said and done?

I also have two little ones as well!

I am nervous, but excited too...I just know it will be a marathon and so much work! Daunting but exciting.

I ended up buying the books on credit and will pay them off when financial aid comes in, they were just sooo much cheaper on amazon than in the school store!

I am really interested in critical care, or ER....Something exciting, challenging, and fast paced! I could be wrong tho, maybe clinical will change my point of view. My non experienced self thinks she wants to be a CCRN someday :)

I was looking at renting some and buying others. I have rarely gotten a good return on books that I have bought so I'm a bit gun shy to buy. I'm thinking I'm going to have to break down and purchase on credit as well because you are correct it just costs too much at the bookstore!

I have been working in longterm care for the last year and as much as I love it, I do not think I could handle it emotionally for the long term. I might change my mind though once clinicals roll around. I'm interested in ER as well. I think I would enjoy the high paced atmosphere.

It is tough...the gas costs, but it was my best option for succeeding in getting my RN quickly!

My car is moderately reliable. It isn't very old, but it keeps having issues :/

I have the worst luck with cars so when we bought mine a couple years ago we got the extended warranty!

Yea pretty much within 2000 miles after the warranty end point...Everything started breaking lol!

Its such a pain, they don't make things to last these days! I am hoping I can keep it going for another 2 years!
