Single mom needs some RN advice!!!

Hi! I will be relocating to CO this summer as a new gradute RN! I will be on my own with my daughter and do not have many sitter options..is there no longer 8 hr. day shifts anywhere for an RN in CO? Please help..I just busted my butt for 5yrs. to get a good career and be able to spend time with my daughter..I don't have the option of someone to help me pull these 12hr. shift...any advice? Thanks so much..there just HAS to be an option other than 12hr. shifts for a BSN in nursing!

a lot of nursing homes have 8 hour shifts. I knew someone who worked at the hospital in Glenwood Springs and they had 8 hour shifts. Many OR's have 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts.

You can always look into doc's offices and other outpatient/ambulatory care options ...

Ambulatory positions are almost always 8hrs.

I work at a hospital in northern Colorado. I work on medical unit 7-3:30 shift.
