psy101 at ccconline

I would like to know how to take psychology 101 online. Is it timed? How many exams? How long does it last per exam?
Thanks

I took PSY 235 and I'm guessing it's similar to 101. The exams are timed - they were an hour but that was more than enough time. And there were two papers that were pretty short, about 5 pages each. And the other component is discussions that you have to participate in. 101 probably isn't exactly the same but I'm sure it's similar.

I dont think that is the class most Nursing programs want. 101 is most likely an introduction to Psychology whereas 235 is Developmental Psychology. I am taking 235 right now. just make sure through whatever program you are planning to attend. It would suck to take the wrong class.

A lot of programs require both.

I took 101 this summer (along with AP2 and Micro). Psy 101 (general psych) and 235 (human growth & dev) are both pre-reqs for CU.

This was an easy class. I don't remember the exact stuff, but from what I have on my computer there are 8 quizzes and a final. The quizzes were (I think) an hour for the exams of 25 questions each. You could take them twice and your best mark would be counted. The final was 100 questions for 2 hours. There are two projects which you answer five questions each. Of course there are the manditory discussions.

I aced this class and it was not hard at all, the majority of my time was taken up by the other two I was doing.
