Is my ADN in vain?

I am set to graduate this December with my ADN/RN. Reading through all these posts about nobody being able to find jobs makes me so sad. I always thought I'd have a guaranteed job after graduation since there is such a severe nursing shortage. I guess I thought wrong. Will my ADN even get me anywhere right now? Does anyone have any advice on finding a job ANYWHERE in Colorado? It's overwhelming and I don't know where to begin.

Default Re: Is my ADN in vain?
We have been told that there is a shortage in rural Colorado. Just not in the Front Range metro areas. A nurse manager at Saint Anthony's said this was the first year they'd turned away more new graduates than they hired. HTH
