LPN Refresher Course

I am trying to get my LPN License here in Co but my license has lapsed from NJ so I have to take a refresher course. The CO Board of Nsg only directs you to the one offered on-line via the Area Health Education Center but I would like to check into others. My questions are 1) does anyone know if the refresher course has to be approved by the Board of Nsg, (the wording on their web-site is vague and no one answers telephones anymore), and 2) does anyone know of any good course?
Thanks,
Linda

Default Re: LPN Refresher Course
I too had inquired about a LPN refresher course and got very vague info from the BON. I would assume that once you find one, you ask if it is state-approved just to make sure so you don't have to repeat it. Red Rocks Community College used to have a LPN refresher, but looking at their website it's now only RN. Maybe CCAHEC is your best bet. Good luck to you!!
