Any other info on Colorado and places to live outside of Denver that would not require a long commute ( not say, more than 30-40 mins each way). Ideally, some kind of view of the mountains but can't afford a $500,000 place. In other words, is there anything affordable in the surrounding Denver area? I want it all, I know... can't hurt to ask!!
Thanks in advance!

I'll tell you a secret. There is a place downtown about 4 blocks from the UCHSC and it's perfect for students. I lived there. It's small, there are only studios and 1 bedrom apts. It's a twelve story mid-rised building that houses both students and the elderly. Perfect location next to Lodo (the strip) and practically across the street form Coors field.
But...only 4-500 per month!!! Utilities included!!! And Cable TV...sort of. The only problem I had was that you can't yet get highspeed internet there.
It's called the
Tamai Towers. But there is a waiting list. Call and get in now, it took me a year to get in, but I hear it's usually around a year to two.
It's in Sakura Square (the Japanese Cultural mall/shopping place) Great location that nobody knows about.
