High level Cardiac ICUs in Denver area...

by CANewRN

Hello,

PICU RN here looking to relocate to Denver by the fall and am looking to land a job in a high acuity ICU (really looking for cardiac opportunities ) So far I have been browsing the following hospitals websites: Denver Health, University Hospital, Childrens, Pres St Lukes, Swedish) But no openings in CICU listed. So my question is what hospital has a high acuity CICU. Are any of these transplant centers?

If anyone has any advice or tips let me know... Also when should I start the application process to be hired by Sept or so?

Thanks

Hi,

I know you posted this a few weeks ago, if you still are looking, I would check out The Medical Center of Aurora (South Campus). I don't know if they are hiring, but cardiac is a big deal there, they are building a new section of the hospital, 4 floors, and at least 2 of them, if not 3, are cardiac. I'm pretty sure it will be finished and open by the end of the year (I think it's supposed to be this spring acutally). They don't do transplants, but still alot of cardiac.
Here's the website:

Hope this helps!
