has anyone done Dream Dinners, Dinner N Dash, etc?

by micco

Hi, just wondering if anyone has gone to one of these type places. Was the food good and did your kids like it? Was it a good value? If you have, would you do it again?

thanks

Hi...I tried Delectable dinners in HR off of County Line Rd...that was good & they even have a room for kids to play so you can do your thing in their "kitchen".

Also tried Dinner N' Dash, right down the road from my home & epxected the same quality. The food (mostly crock pot meals) were awful! What a waste of $$.

I've also heard super suppers is good. Many of the nurses I work with use these places, so I guess it's pretty popular.

I did dream dinners and the food was ok, not great but much better than fast food. I didn't really like the sweet or asian things but some of them were very tasty. The best part is they use very good quality meat and you can really pick and choose the seasoning. I always add salt to dream dinners meals. Side note, the staff is GREAT, that was the best part. I think for people just trying to get good healthy meals on the table, dream dinners is good!

In my area, it's Dinners Done Right and it's one of my favorite places. Since there are just 2 of us at home, I split up each entree into two separate meals, so I get 24 meals out of a 12 meal plan. Just perfect for quick dinners, or when my hubby is home alone and he doesn't remember to take the time to actually cook for himself.

One of the best parts of it is there is no waste. Like when you buy a bunch of green onions for 2 T of green onions and the rest go to waste. That kind of waste is gone.
