Experiences w/A&P at ACC?

by GoBear

I've been experiencing/hearing of some issues with an A&P class at ACC. Has anybody here gone through an A&P (I or II) class at Arapahoe? If so, would you mind privately e-mailing me? I have a few questions I'd like to ask you

I took A & P at ACC, but it was 15 yrs ago (Wow that went fast-)! In those days it was an excellent class with a great instructor. I was also in the ACC fast track program in the early days (LPN to RN). Back then, the school had an excellent reputation with a high percentage of students passing NCLEX. My class had a 100% pass rate first time around! I've been out of the loop for awhile though- living in Norhtwestern Colorado.

Was the A&P class the A&P II class from Fall 2005? If it was, then I was in that class. We had an instructor leave for medical reasons and the class was never the same afterwards.

I took both A&P I and II classes at Arapahoe and the first one was fun, challenging, and educational. The second one, not so much, but that was because the original instructor had to take a leave of absence. I'll PM you if you want to know more about the A&P classes at Arapahoe.

I took A&P I at ACC about 3 years ago as a senior in high school. The instructor - don't remember her name - was super nice. I took the online version so of course exams were open book, but still kinda challenging. The lab was on Saturdays and those practicals were pretty tough but I learned a lot. All in all it was a decent class.
