I am thinking about attending Concorde Career College. Has any one has a experience with them. Or know of anyone that has.

Nurse Re: Concorde
I am currently attending Concorde to recieve my LPN Lic. I also have a friend in the RN program who really likes it. Im about 8 weeks into my program and so far its been good. Its expensive ,but there are no waiting lists. So I would recommend the school, if you have ant specific questions I'd be happy to answer them......

i graduate in a week and half from the RN program at Concorde. It is a good program but extremely intense. There are definetly some pros and cons with the program but they are still working out the kinks. IF you have specific questions let me know

I just graduated from Concorde. I am not sure about the RN program, but the LPN program definitely has its flaws. They cannot keep teachers or clinical sites which was a real pain. They would call you the night before your clinical and tell you it has been changed to clear across town. Good luck though!!

I'm having a hard time getting in touch with the counselor who just a few months ago was hounding me to get into the RN program. Now I'm ready and I can't get her to return my calls. Any ideas?

Also, I'll be doing the bridge program. How long is the total RN program? I understand I'll go part time the first half, then full time the 2nd half, as the bridge program.

Considering the wait lists and lack of LPN refresher courses in the area, would you recommend Concorde after your experience?

Thanks!

Hi, Traci - did you attend Concorde's RN program in Aurora (CO) or Kansas City (MO)? Did you have any previous medical experience or classes? I just took the NET at Concorde (Aurora) yesterday. Both the RN and LPN programs will have classes starting in July. I was hoping to get some feedback on the RN program - it looks brutal How many students "survived" it? I'd be interested in any info or advice you have because it's certainly a big decision - career-wise and money wise - so I don't want to blow it. And I think comments from someone who's attended/attending the program would be invaluable.

Thanks in advance

For those that went to Concorde (or are going), can you go on with your education? Will you be accepted into schools that offer a BSN? An MSN? (Like U of Colorado, Beth-El, MSCD, Regis, etc)

I attend CCC in Aurora. I graduate in 15 weeks. Yes, it is pretty crazy - but who said nursing school wouldn't be! Feel free to ask what ever questions you might have. I will do my best to give you or if nothing else find you the answer!

Hello,

I would reccommend Concorde Career Institute (College) LPN program. I am not familiar with the RN program. I attended Concorde and loved it I was the first graduating LPN class in 1995.

At the time I lived in Texas and the waiting list were all so long...while visiting my sister in colorado she to me to try concorde to see if they had an LPN program. I called them up, this was June 1994 and was told that the would be starting a class soon and to leave my name and number. After hanging up i told my sister they are not going to call me because i live out of state.

Well, low and behold the called me in late July early Aug to say they were starting a class in september 1994 if i were interested to take they entry exam and do an enterview.........I flew back out to dever to take care of all the business and was excepted!

I packed up my children and my belongings and started at concorde sept 1994 and completed oct 1995. It was great experience
