Can anyone give us New Grads a glimmer of hope?

I know that times are tough and that it is more difficult to get a nursing job as a new grad but can someone out there please give us hope. I have heard over and over that it is difficult and that no hospitals are hiring new grads. My classmates and I are are frankly tired of hearing the negative comments, it only makes us more discouraged and frustated. Can someone ,anyone give us a glimmer of hope? Is there any new grads that just graduated and nailed a job in a hospital in Denver? Let me know. Thanks

I've been looking for a job since Feb and have had a really hard time, the best advice I can give is to send emails, make phone calls, leave messages, talk to any one and everyone that may be able to help you and don't give up. I just interviewed for a position today and was told that as long as my back ground check and everything come back good I'll have the job. I called every HR department for every hospital in the Denver area until I finally got someone to talk to me! Don't give up You'll get a job!

I thought only CA new-grads have a tough time finding new-grad programs, but it seems like other states are also facing a hire freeze. oh boy that's not good.
