Any Denver Childrens nurses? I have some questions.

I cureently volunteer over at Denver Childrens and have just started in a BSN nursing program, when I graduate I would love to work at Denver Childrens. Working there I noticed ALOT of the nurses look very young, I wll be 33 when I graduate and wonder if that is too old? Do they like to hire younger nurses? I know 33 isn't quite senior citizen status and this probably seems like a really stupid question but I was just wondering. It has been my dream to work there and I guess just want to know if there is no chance. Also does volunteering help? I know that it s very difficult to get a job there as a new grad but im willing to work my butt off for it. Any suggestions? Will I be to old? Thanks so much for all your help!

I am friends with someone who just got their BSN locally in Dec of 08 and she is working at Childrens now and loves it. She is 35 with a husband and 3 kids. So going by that, they do hire "older nurses". I am a medic in the area and am in the ER frequently and they have plenty of nurses of all ages. I wouldn't worry too much about age.
