Unions and the Workplace

How do you feel about working for a union??
What are the pro's and con's to collective bargaining in the workplace? Any idea's?
I'm not sure if I should join or not -- many people say it's not worth it but others love it! I live in Oklahoma.. What's your opinion??!!

Default Re: Unions and the Workplace
There are already several threads on this topic...

I am a union member. But I don't "work for the union", the union works for me and all of my coworkers. I'm employed by the hospital within a union collective agreement.
