We got a new admit yesterday. I stood there during report and listened to the CNA who had him tell one of our most sourpuss 3rd shift aides everything about him, including his diagnosis. The same girl worked tonight, and I'm explaining to her that PT changed his assist level, and she interrupts me to ask what his diagnosis was, in a really snotty tone... like I must be the most incompetent idiot in the world not to inform her what it was right off the bat.

It was the same diagnosis he had last night, obviously! She must have forgotten that I worked last night so she was going to pretend she didn't know the guy so she could ask me snotty questions and treat me like I'm stupid.

I'm soooo sick of her. So is everyone else.

Yuck! I hate when co workers have that attitude. There's a girl where I work who complains about everything. I'm sooo glad we aren't on the same shift! But she does come in and let me off 90% of the time. We can have busted our butts the entire shift, skipped our breaks just to catch up, have a million witnesses that say we did the best we could, and she still tries to get us wrote up, if say we forgot to make a bed or something. She always talks down to us, and tells us she isn't going to carry our load, and that we don't ever do anything.

One time our charting was at 90%, we had half the hall ready for bed, had passed and fed all the supper trays, had picked up half the trays, and done all the 2nd shift showers, and instead of thanking us for doing half her work for her she just says "see I knew if you guys actually worked you could get all this done". UGHHH. We split the shift so we're supposed to do 50% and she's supposed to do 50%. And we always have at least our part done but apparently she isn't happy unless we do her part to. I wish she'd quit already!
