temporary license for 60 days, but then what?

My paperwork finally has been processed by the Board of Nursing in the state of Maryland and it says next to my name that I have a temporary 60 day license. What happens after the next 60 days? I would assume that it would change from temporary to official but I'm not familiar with this process.

Hi initially you will get a temp license which is basically on a paper but endorsed by the board which says it expires in 60 days. But guess what following that temp comes in original certificate which is good for 2 yrs. I just recieved my original CNA cert this week from Md. So dont worry you shud get in less than 3 wks. Hope I helped you to some extent.

Good luck
