I am not sure, but I'd say contact the NC BON.

North Carolina Board of Nursing
Post Office Box 2129
Raleigh, North Carolina 27602-2129

phone: (919) 782-3211
fax: (919) 781-9461

Good luck with the move.

Regards,
Jay

Thumbs up Re: state to state transfer
Hey Karen,

I'm a CNA from NYC but I ended up working in GA, since that's where my husband was stationed before. We then moved to NC and I found out that the State of NC does not accept reciprocity from any city.
You have to be tested and listed on the NC registry.
If you want more info, you can definetely contact the NC Bd of Nursing but this website was helpful too:

All the best!

This is the easiest website in my opinion. I'm transferring mine from IL to MI.
National Network of Career Nursing AssistantsThe first step is to contact the Nurse Aide Registry in your home state and request a "Application for Enrollment By Reciprocity". ...
