Start CNA Training soon

by carolg

I am so excited. I found an employer that will pay for my CNA training. She is giving me a day shift and I get to work with patients coming out of surgery. I don't really know what to expect. I am looking forward to the experience.
I told her I wanted to be a nurse, I have most of my pre-reqs done and they will also help with my nursing school. That is the best news I have heard in a while.

I worry about getting used to bedside care, the only way I know how to get comfortable with something is to do it and find out my fears are only imagined. this site is great.

Congrats, and take advantage of the wonderful opportunity presented to you. Its wonderful that you are having assistants to get your training. It took me 2yrs to be able to be able to fund for my training. But just like you I was nervous and didnt know what to expect. Now I have passed the state exam and now on the state registry. Which has happend very recently. So once again congrats and good luck and welcome to the adventure that awaits you!
