So excited... now very depressed.. Someone help!

Updated Aug 06, 2007 at 05:20 PM by jb2u

Hello everyone. I just want to start out by saying THANK YOU to everyone in the nursing aid discussions. I have been on this website every day the last couple of weeks, and i have learned a lot, so thank you! Sorry about long post.....

Now my problem..s... I was so excited to become an STNA, and i was very nervous about the state test. well i took it a couple of days ago and i am now very depressed. I studied a LOT and thought the lady testing me would be easy going, and kind of help me out. well i was very wrong. she would not answer any questions after the skills test started and i got SO nervous. I was forgetting little, but big things like leaving the call light! Which i would always do, i was just so nervous. So i would then remember and go back and say, oh yea i would have left out the call light. Well she was just so hard to read because she just kept writing and would not say one word to me and it just made me so much more nervous. I do understand though that it is a state test i was just hoping it would be more easy going.

I'm sorry this is such a long post i just don't really have anyone else to go to. and i can see you all are very helpful, because i have read every thread on here. Thank you so much for your help. Very depressed, Kass
