Skills test question


I'm testing this week and I had a question about placing the bed pan. My exp in lab is that when you put the head of the bed back up the bed pan moves with the body of the person playing resident. Am I not tucking it right, is there a trick to it I'm not getting? Any help is so greatly app!!!

You might not be placing it low enough. You want kind of line up the top of the bedpan with the tailbone on an average body, so that when you lift the head, it's like they're sitting on it as they would a seat.

No problem. It's easy to put it too high...but you learn not to do that real fast after you do it a couple of times and have to clean up a big mess in the bed.
