Which shift would you rather work?

by Duice88

I am also in school to become an RN so please take that into consideration when answering.
Three 8-hour day shifts on a rehab floor or two 12-hour shifts in the ER?

Two 12s in the ER. I think it would be a far better learning experience. Even though 12 hour shifts can be long, it would probably go pretty fast because of the nature of ED work. Probably looks better on a resume, too.

2 12 hours. It frees up a lot of time for school. Plus, I agree that you will get better expirience in the ER. I would say it would also help you with time managment skills better. Good Luck!!
