Re: SAHM's
I am not a SAHM, seeing how I am a man and all, but when my son was a baby. I worked an overnight shift as a diesel mechanic and then came home and my wife would go to work during the day. The only thing to consider is when are you going to sleep? Your little one will probably sleep during the night while you work and then be ready to play when you get home and are ready to go to bed. It was very hard for me some days. You can't sleep while your little one is roaming through the house so...when do you sleep? Eventually, my wife quit work and she has been a SAHM for about 5 years now. I would not have it any other way. I share your belief that my kids should not have a baby sitter. Nobody will ever love my kids like I do and I could not handle someone messing with them!
That said, I wish you all the luck in the world. I know that some hospitals have on-site daycares. This would make ME feel better! Anyway, good luck with your decision.
Sincerely,
Jay
