Question about PRN work


Hi, I have found out that most LTC will only hire at Five eight hour shifts, I dont want to work five day's and lack the experience as of yet to be employed by a Hospital, was wondering what PRN is like? more money I know, but on average do you only get called once or twice a week? Any imput appreciated.

I've never heard of nursing homes only hiring 40 hours. Are you sure you can't just get a job for 24 or 32 hours a week?
