Patient Care Tech jobs in the ED

Hi all, I am currently working as a PCT in a hospital in the MED/SURG floor and was wondering if anyone out there knows the best way to get in as a tech in the emergency department. What additional experience/certifications do you need. Any input would be great. Thanks!!!!!
