Part time CNA Job

Hello everyone:

I am thinking get a CNA certificate then find a part time job while i am going to school.


my questions are:
1. Is it easy to find a part-time CNA job? ( l live in eastbay area in CA)
2. will employer pay for health insurance(medical, dental vision) for a part-time position?


I read some threads in the forum. I found working hours and pay information as follows

• the average working hours is anywhere between 24 to 36 hours per week, weekend shift every other weekends.
• the pay range is from $9 to $12 / hr.
• for a new start CNA, the best place to find work is nursing homes or long term care facilities

I would like to hear your input and advises for going to school while working part-time. Thanks!
