Nursing Student Wants to be a CNA in Maryland

I'm excited to be starting nursing school next month. I understand that after one semester you can become a licensed CNA here in Montgomery County, Maryland. I would appreciate any advise from anyone who has done this or advice on how to go about finding a part time job after January. I need to work part time while I'm in school and a CNA job sounds good.
