Looking for advice... CNA with no acute care experience

Hi! I will be working as a CNA on call to fill shifts in hospitals and I'm looking for tips/advice. I have experience in LTC and in home care, but no acute care experience. What is the most valuable information to know ahead of time? Thanks!

Your charge nurses will let you know what you are required to do. Keep a cheat sheet with you to write stuff down on. Just be extra careful to watch out for anything that is going on with the patients that looks unusual and keep the nurse informed. Hope you like your new job.
