Re: I need advice for my CNA interview!
This has been discussed before --- you might want to search past postings. Many of us were somewhat 'grilled' with the scenario thing and 'personal' questions that often make us unconfortable, and you need to be prepared for. 1st, as others have stated, good grooming, eye contact, positive attitude, good manners, etc.
Some basic questions:
What have been the best and worst work experiences you've ever had?
What are your best attributes/ worst attributes (no, not physical!)?
If you're working on the floor and the nurse loudly berates you in front of other residents/patients, what will you do?
How well do you like working with others?
If we hire you, what will you bring to this facility?
What tasks are you good at/ what tasks do you do poorly on?
The basic thing here is that you need to be honest and admit you have some faults and lie about having good attributes

.
It's simply very difficult for many people to 'toot their own horn' and you need to be prepared for that. Same thing with admitting there are things they are not so good at. Good interviewers will know your body language, so rehearse by talking to yourself on these questions (not in public

).
