Last time I took the CNA skills exam, I didn't even make it through all 5 skills in 25 minutes. Atleast this time I made it through all 5 skills...
I had weigh an ambulatory client. The bottom was 150 and the top was 14....I put the 174 on the scale... :\ I did not realize until I was at home.
Then, I had to feed the client...I forgot the clothing protector... Last time when I took the skills, when I was a client the person had this skill and forgot to put the clothing protector on too...did they jinx me? lol
Then I had to put the stocking on the client. The client had really chubby ankles....It took really long since I only practiced on the maniken...
Then...I had peri-care. I had 6 mins left. It took me 2 mins to find the supplies. The evaluator confused me because when I asked him where the "incontinent pad" was...he said I'm looking at it...and I was actually refering to what he calls a diaper

(he was referring to a bed protector)....so I wound up picking the wrong thing. When I asked him after I was done cleaning the client, he said I did not need to do change them even though it says in the handbook to change......
So confused about this skill now....
There was already a bed protector on the bed when I went to go do the skill anyway!!!!! He didn't show me how to operate the bed before hand.....
He didn't watch me through half the steps of any skill!!!
Heck, he was preparing food for the client while I was washing my hands and weighing the client!
Then when the client leaves, he calls her "dumb"!
What in the world...you know?
