Help, job needed with Insurance

by HTmommy

Hi all - not sure if this is where I should place this posting or not. So heres my situation. Currently in a nursing program, a ft mom of a newborn and I maintain a 3rd shift ft (3, 12's) at a hospital as a LNA. Well if my life were perfect I wouldn't be working. Back to my reality I need to work to maintain benefits. I had never worked 3rd before and honestly its kicking my butt. I am just not one to be able to function the next days thereafter. I have looked at other opportunities or switching my hours but nothing available.

Now I am looking elsewhere.

Heres the questions, where do I look for a 6A-3P position that offers health insurance? Staffing agencies do they accommodate this for an LNA? How can I find private positions & do they offer health insurance?

Appreciate all feedback!

The thought of working at nursing homes does not particularly appeal to many aides. However, nursing homes and other LTCFs are where you will find day shifts being offered. The typical day shifts in my area are 6 to 2pm or 7 to 3pm, and many of these nursing homes offer benefits after the first 90 days have elapsed. A few of the better companies even offer benefits after the first 30 days have passed.

Good luck to you!
