from NC to Tx


I recently got recertified in NC and just moved to TX. Now i am Clueless of what to do.I don't know where to look to find what to do next and if im able to use my certificate in this state.Can someone plz give me some feedback?

Hello and welcome to allnurses.com!!!

Just apply for reciprocity. Directions for reciprocity.

Go to the TX DADs website here

Print out Form 5505-NAR

It should only take a couple of weeks. No need to retest or anything as long as your certification in the state that you are in now is still current.

For any further info, just click on the link in my "signature" that says..."nurse aide registries," go to Texas and click on it." Hope that helps.
