Freaking Out over State Exam, Help!!!

Okay here goes I just took my final last friday passed and missed eight out of 100, But will those questions be simular to the ones on the test? I had a very lousy teacher when I say lousy I mean L-O-U-S-Y. Al she really talked about was the polotics of healthcare which I don't even think will be on the state test. Any Kansas CNA's here can you HELP ME!!!

My Exam is on the 16th this month, and while I'm very anxious to become a CNA and work as one, The test is making lose sleep all of sudden

The overwhelming response to this worry over the years, and in many states, is that state exams, no matter what state, are easy. Very much of it is common sense. It's the skills testing that is the nail-biter.

Plus, most of the CNA material should not really need to be 'taught'. That is, it's simple info and should be understandable by you reading the text.

If you've been listening and attending class, doing assignments, and reading your text, no worries....

I've heard the same thing as the prev poster. Know your scope of practice and the basics of care, like normal resps and basic anatomy and you should be fine. It is the skills you should practice practice practice and do until you know them better than your abcs. Our school has never ever had anyone fail the written but the skills get about one or so out of every class. Good luck and keep us posted
