First Week of CNA Program

by It's_Me

I'm on my way! The first week was ok, so far we have just worked on study skills, resumes, and last night we began the chapter on residents rights and what a CNA does, and does not do. I can't wait to get to clinical, that's still a couple weeks away.

How are all the other students doing?

Hi I am so excited to find this site! I start my CNA class next Wed. I am so excited to finally do something else that feels so natural to do anyway. I've had such a confidence boost ever since I started thinking that this is for me. I am married shm mom to two kids under 3, I need to work. Wish me luck!

Best of luck to all of you! I am going in tomorrow to sign up for an 11-day course that starts this Tuesday. I'm half and half nervous and excited :-)

I'm not sure if cpr is included with mine yet. But our clinicals is at a nursing home, so yes it's with real patients.

Good luck to all of you, and congrats to all!

I'm still hanging in there, we had our clinical orientation, but haven't yet practiced skills yet. They're really taking their time with this class. 3 months to go. I am disappointed that our class doesn't offer CPR training, for all the time it's taking, you'd think they could work that in for one day.
