FCCJ's CNA Program

by combkk

I am thinking about getting into FCCJ's CNA Programto start off my medical career. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how long it takes to become a CNA and how much it cost. Also, how long it took you to get a job. I want to work in a hospital setting.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks!

Default Re: FCCJ's CNA Program
I completed the program from August-November 2008 at FCCJ. I still am without a job because the internship is too short. It was about a week long (4 weeks, working only Mondays and Tuesdays). Everywhere I've looked wants way more experience, which I cannot offer. I have my CNA license from the state of Florida, too. I am considering going back for Medical Assistant (8 month program), but I don't know where, yet. I'm still looking at my options. Beware about the program at FCCJ.
