Does the school require you 2 pass the class tests & final exam?

I just wondering does your school require you to pass the class written tests and final exam or not? If didn't pass all the class tests or final exam does it affect the individual for not being able to continue w/ the clinical or something? Does it affect in anyway at all???

At my school if you don't pass written then you can't do skills. If you fail skills you can't go to clinical. If you fail clinical they won't let you take the state test. I don't think it would be a good idea to let someone continue if they couldn't pass--you do need to know these things. 1 girl failed out of written; another is about to fail clinical because she refuses to do peri-care.

During our theory portion, we had to get a 85 or better on all the tests. To get our CNA license we had to take a 100 q. final and had to get I think a 90 on it. To be able to sit for our GNA license (needed if you want to work in LTC facilites) we had to have at least a 90% average in the class.
