I agree with you. There are several Supermarket and fast food chains in my area who start cashiers at a minimum of $11-$12 an hour. It isn't hard to figure out why Nursing Homes cannot keep good dedicated help. Why break your back lifting people for $8-$9 an hour when you can go down the street and flip burgers or ring up a register and make $12/hour?
It takes a special kind of person to be a CNA. One who has a big heart




and one who knows how to budget on a small income.....

) You definitely won't become rich being a CNA, however the rewards you will receive will not be in the form of a check!
