CNA Interview, really confussed!

Today I had my 1st interview at a local hopsital. My interview was done on a floor where I did my clincals for my CNA. I 1st went in saying hi to everyone I remembered 2wks ago on my clinicals. So when I started my interview we talked about general previous employment. Also I was given senarios and situations and she asked how I would respond to them. I then started telling her a bit about myself. I told her that I have done courses for my RN and she asked how far am I. Then she talked about when I wanted to go back to school. It seemed she was more interested in my interest in becoming a RN then me being a CNA,lol. I feel the interview went pretty well. I then started to answer questions she wanted to ask me before she asked me them. She wrote alot of notes and gave me full eye contact. Then out of the blue she brought up orientation and how I would be trained with a preceptor for 1 month then I would work on my own. Also she asked me if I had any futher questions. The interview was a total of 35 minutes long. And then she introduced me to all the staff. I'm confussed because she never told me if I got the job. She told me she would call me next week sometime on her decision, ugh. So did I get the job or what???

Sounds like it's probably pending on background checks and references. Once those are all done they'll probably give you a call.
