CNA with carpal tunnel???

Hi! I'm just wondering if anyone has been able to continue working as a CNA while experiencing carpal tunnel? I think I have it and I'm making an appointment with my Dr. I am working 4 days over the next 5 and I don't want it to get worse. This is however my 7th week at a new job that I love and I don't want to jeopardize it either. My wrists are sore and I have stiffness and sometimes numbness in some fingers and one thumb. It's difficult to do things like turn doorknobs and open the car door. I'm a mom of two so of course even at home I'm lifting, performing ADLs, cooking, cleaning, hoisting... you know the same stuff as at work. It just started out of the blue yesterday. UGH!
