Ummmm...no. I used my brain as a CMA, what I have learned so far in nursing school (one semester left for my BSN) by far surpasses anything that I had to know as a CMA (and yeah, I graduated with Honors from my medical assisting program which was from a JC). The difference is not the pay check, its is SO much more, like skill level, education level, and knowledge base to name just a
few. It is no wonder the nurses in your practice do not respect you, your insulting comments and attitude are off putting. There
is a reason RNs are paid more. Again, you will be eating your words if you ever go back to nursing school. If you do, come back and visit this thread in several years...
