Well I used to be a staffing manager for a healthcare agency that hired GNA'S on a contract basis and the GNA'S that worked for me actually enjoyed it. It gave them flexability and it paid them way more than if they actually worked for a facility. Th eonly thing is that most of them do notr offer benefits if thats what your looking for. They loved it and since I left that job to take a GNA class myself, ( I only did that because Im in school for nursing) I will be doing contracts when I finish. I hope this helps!
