I challenged the exam in NC and passed. Just study the steps in your manual. Practice on someone at home if they'll let you. If you're familiar with the medical field it will be mostly common sense. Good luck!

I'm in Winston Salem. I took my test in High Point. Do you know what they said you did wrong? I've heard there are some really tough testers and some really easy ones. The lady who did my testing was really laid back. Just remember to wash your hands. I konw one guy who failed because after he did his last skill (measuring weight) he did not say he would wash his hands. He did everything else perfect.

Yes i know what i did wrong. When i was doing right sided weakness. I put the shirt on wrong. Thinking my right side and not the resident. I believe i will be better prepared this time. The woman we had was super nice. 4 out of 7 failed. But i think all of them that failed was because it was something the woman could not let pass. One girl i know put the bed pain on backwards. Its just amazing because stupid people before us let others pass who should not have. And now we have to pay all this money for it. Oh well i will do it again and pass this time. (well i hope) Anyway thanks for responding. If you ever want to chat just let me know.

I passed my clinical but failed my written test. I was upset but refocus myself and restudied. I study my previous tests. I also studied my book. I downloaded my book on line and took the test for each chapter. If I did not know the answer to the question I clicked on hint and hint would tell me where to find the answer. I had my book next to me on my desk and immediatly I looked up the hint information in my book. I also downloaded the book on my cell phone. While I was on break I studied the book on my cell phone by answering the questions on my cell phone. I also had my book with me to look up information. I retook the test and I passed I am now working as a CNA.

I challenged it but just know the skills like the back of your hand. I had to take the skills part over and I passed the 2nd time. What I did...I got a notebook learned a skill a day and wrote it down constantly; the next day I would learn another skill but before I would learn the new skill I made sure I knew the skills that I had learned previously; if I missed a step I would start all over again writing it down until I got it right. When I learned the new skill I would again start all over with the first skill I learned. Hope this helps; it helped me out and I wasn't as nervous because I knew I knew the steps to the skills. Good Luck!

That's what happened to me the first time I took it and the fact that I had a toughtester the first time around. The second time I went somewhere else had a laid back tester and passed!
