can i be a cna?

hello everyone! I'm considering becoming a cna because I'm new here in america and I just took my nclex and I think i failed it. I graduated bsn from my country but i feel like i cant use that unless i get license and if i fail then i dont have license so i need to earn money to take it again 'cuz i dont have a job right now and i feel lost when i look for job thats not related to nursing and cna is the closest one, so how do i become one? do i need to go back to school again? where do i get certified? thankk you..

Hi!

Contact your State's Department of Health. They are the one's that can tell you if you qualify to take the Nurse Aide State Test, since requirements vary from state to state.

Good Luck!

Anyone with a clean background, good physical stamina, and the willingness to work can become a CNA, but please be advised that the nature of the work is backbreaking, grueling, and often underappreciated. Good luck to you!
